Should show survey levels of the area. Alternatively land.vic.gov.au has contours avaliable. Compare these to the current conditions. If the land is relatively it will be harder to define. Id be taking a lot of photos both on your block and the neighbours. This should be done both in dry and wet conditions. Jazz in your case if your block has always sloped back you normally wouldn't be responsible unless yougo and increase the runoff by concreting etc.. normally there should be a stormwater easement for which you can connect your drainage to. Re: Building the Majestic 40 - now another pool problem :( : 682Dec 07, 2013 7:22 pm Hi Onewheel, its been a while since I have been on. All our our neighbours drain into our block. We put in a double drain system right around our whole pool. We also used geo blanket to stop mud going into the pool in heavy rain. with the recent downpours our pool has overflowed and flowed into the double drain system. It cost us a lot of time money and effort but we had lots of flooding before we did it. Did you build the deck? It looks brilliant! Re: Building the Majestic 40 - now another pool problem :( : 683Dec 08, 2013 6:07 am Thanks lot927, we are waiting for our landscaper to come back to look at it and give us some ideas to resolve the problem, he is busy on another large job so can't come til the week before xmas. Like you have, at this stage we are thinking of putting drainage along both sides of the pool along the fence line. We will need to drain the pool a second time and get the lining clean again and fill it for a third time. But we are not doing it yet til the drainage is sorted. Knowing our luck, if we did it now, we'd have another downpour and dirt flowing into the pool again. Still waiting for the pool company to do handover, was scheduled for last thurs but no show. But given the state of the pool at the moment, no real rush to do this. Can't really swim in it the way it is. So the pool is really on hold til the landscaper comes and sorts out the drainage. I guess it will be finished eventually, hopefully by next Xmas! We built the Wisdom Majestic 40 - moved in! The pool builder promised to finish off things before Xmas, but as per usual, this didn't happen, so another email sent to them asking what the $&/(? Is going on. We have been away and just got back, so hopefully the landscaper will be in touch this week. We built the Wisdom Majestic 40 - moved in!
