If they can be amended in colors, then I signed off on it. KDLEN A question for all you that have had constructions plans issued: there are a couple of errors on mine, is it ok to sign it subject to the amendments being made or does it have to go back to drafting and a long wait again? They got the height of the openings on the ground floor wrong and for some reason the neich in the ensuite shower is positioned at 750 from the ground (very low!) Re: Masterton Homes - The new thread 2.0 2464Aug 20, 2012 1:13 pm paulevan - we are way past colours about to begin 20 days to construction, it was the final construction plnas that had a few errors. dsa - thanks I will do that. How far into it are you now? Have the 20 days started according to M? We had a few small things that needed rectifying and our PCC made a note on the construction plans for us. When you go into the 20 day construction coutdown, you will eventually receive a "welcome" letter from Masterton and you will receive another set of construction plans which should reflect these final changes. The 20 day countdown was the hardest part for me as the wait was agonising but we are finally past that and our site will be scraped this Thursday. It would've been done tomorrow but we had to delay it as I needed to relocate the services (power/water/phone) which are running to the granny flat/cabin which we are living in at the back of the block. The new trench was finished today and the sparky, plumber and phone guy will be here Wednesday to finish it off. Re: Masterton Homes - The new thread 2.0 2466Aug 20, 2012 2:00 pm That's a bit scary then, I do't think I would be comfortable with that. Make sure you keep all correspondence and are on top of your SS, so that when those things come to be done, you can make sure they have the latest plans. You can talk to your SS and the subbies directly if you have to make some changes. I have done that, you have to keep a close on eye on them and be in contact with your SS though. Re: Masterton Homes - The new thread 2.0 2467Aug 20, 2012 3:45 pm Hey guys/girls, has anyone been hit with a variation in there 20 days for removal of spoil from site? I just got a email from M for this, strange considering they said the level of the blocks where good. Neville (sales rep) only talked about the external and going to the display centre. Welcome back Ricaaaa. You are only at the tip of the iceberg. Make sure you store lots and lots of patience, as you will need them for the next 6-8 months before any construction starts Nice selection of externals. We thought it was going to be easy selection as well, ended up taking most of the day! Get in contact with your sales rep and ask for the kitchen and internal catalogue, not normally included with the selection folder. it will make your internal selection easier. P.S.
