The photo below shows how .... well.... white it is. It was supposed to be a light cream (actual colour Pebble Bay). Took the swatch out and it is indeed the actual colour, but you would think that the so called colour consultant would advise that this won't scale well, will be have a lot of glare, etc. I spoke to the area manager on Friday, as our SS is on leave. He advised the product would already be ordered and can't be changed. I don't get this.... if I ordered 20 buckets of this stuff through bunnings and used one realised it wasn't going to work I am sure they would let me exchange it (this stuff is not tinted in store it comes from factory like it so not opened). We are hoping it will dull down a little, maybe a colour person can advise? Or should we push to have it changed? It is only this part of the wall done so they can get the tank in and plumbed. Strange thing is we still like the colour, just not with so much light on it. Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ well if it's any consolation, I really like the colour?! I had a sample of pebble bay- was thinking about it as an interior colour- and really like it. I think the colour looks great with the roof, too. I hope that, as more is done, you like it better? I guess, worst case scenario, if you were really disappointed you could paint over it, couldn't you? We rendered our first home (an older place) and then had it painted. Ten years on, it still looks great. I remember thinking the same though- that it looked way lighter than expected. We rendered our last build (prior to this one) and had it painted surf mist. And it looks bright white, not soft grey! But I still like it lol. They have finished the exterior now, and it is settling into its surrounds a bit! and when the sun isn't too harsh looks great. I think seeing it all done helps heaps too. Pebble bay is actually one of our interior colours too!! I don't have an exterior pic of it completed yet, will get one this afternoon hopefully. But things have been happening inside too!
