Would you mind telling me where you got te kitchen splash back tiles and your marble hearth? Also was it Silver Dollar that you ended up with for your render colour? I am trying for a 'Hampton' ish look also and the exterior paint colour is driving me mad! I dream about it every night almost! Re: Charnleys Knockdown & Rebuild - PCI Pics Galore Finally 314Jul 01, 2013 11:33 pm Thank you all for your lovely comments. I am very happy with how it has turned out and finally a little excited again to get in and start putting all the finishing touches on our place. Also thank you for your well wishes and concern for mum, she is doing so much better. bradster181 Now THAT is an update! Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful You must take great pride in such a lovely home. Bring on the 2 weeks. Bet the kids are hanging to get in Yes Brad kids are super excited. I don't think I give them credit sometimes of how much they understand. My 3 year said today when we met the painter at the house "Please be nice to our house because this one is our real one not the pretend one where we are now. enelya it is all lovely Charnley!!! the granite and tiling is so coordinated and gorgeous.... and i wish i knew about shaker kitchens when we signed up! cannot wait to see moved in pics one question.... is there still a cupboard door to go on over the stove? i couldn't tell what it was! Yes we still have a missing cupboard. Apparently it was damaged so they are replacing it/ respraying it. Also your Kitchen it just lovely Jen, totally suits the style of your home. tstr1a The house looks fantastic! I'm really impressed with your selections. Can I ask what colour used on the front render? It looks fab. Thanks tstr1a the colour we used for the render is Taubmans Silver Dollar. jemsaf Charnely those floors and kitchen is to die for! It's made me a little excited (and impatient) to see our floors go down. Do you know the name, style, supplier details etc for your white pantry tiles? They look like the ones I've been looking for for our kitchen. Yes Jem I really love the floors, very happy with them. Tiles are called Vogue Bianco White. We originally saw them at Myaree Ceramics in Perth but our supplier here was able to get them for us. I really agonized over our splashback but very happy when I found them. Scotty Dog Woohoo, your place looks gorgeous I love your dishwasher, I now have dishwasher envy, I nearly got the integrated but then I listened to hubby when he said not to bother, but yours looks soooo good. I also love that you went half height in your toilet...its now got me thinking, we have tiles left over and we might just order some more and do the same after handover. I really love the way the intergrated dishwashers blend into the cabinetry. Cant wait to use it, our one in the rental we have is one of those dish drawer ones and it is useless. With our tiles we couldn't justify the extra expense to go floor to ceiling. After our extra retaining we have to cut some things from the budget but I like the half height tiling it kinds fits with the countryish style I was after. I hope you guys get your issues sorted and get PCI soon. Fingers crossed for you and SB. judydg What a beautiful home - you must be so excited! Would you mind telling me where you got te kitchen splash back tiles and your marble hearth? Also was it Silver Dollar that you ended up with for your render colour? I am trying for a 'Hampton' ish look also and the exterior paint colour is driving me mad! I dream about it every night almost! Thanks judydg, Marble Hearth was from Stone Solutions - they do granite offcuts and are based in Landsdale. If you granite or stone offcuts they should come up. Yes Silver Dollar for render and I found our splashback at Myaree Ceramics, name is just up the page a bit. Paint choices has just about sent me crazy and even the Silver Dollar didn't quite turn out the way I thought but I am much happier with it now the aggregate is in and I think garden will help as well. Re: Charnleys Knockdown & Rebuild - PCI Pics Galore Finally 315Jul 02, 2013 10:36 am Love the kitchen! Everything is beautiful - congrats. Re: Charnleys Knockdown & Rebuild - PCI Pics Galore Finally 316Jul 03, 2013 6:38 pm Sorry to trouble you again Charnley - you have been so good answering all the questions! Would you say Silver Dollar is a warm grey? The tiny sample chip I managed to get looks quite beige and some of the beigey greys can throw purple. But your photo doesn't look as if it does. How would you describe how it looks in reality? I reckon external paint colour must be one of the hardest decisions in the whole build! Re: Charnleys Knockdown & Rebuild - PCI Pics Galore Finally 317Jul 03, 2013 8:20 pm judydg Sorry to trouble you again Charnley - you have been so good answering all the questions! How would you describe how it looks in reality? I reckon external paint colour must be one of the hardest decisions in the whole build! No Probs - Yes paint colours just about do my head in. It is a warm beige grey though it is definitely more grey than beige but in the shade it does throw a bit of pink - however that has reduced a lot now that our aggregate is down. In the light I would say it is a warm grey. I wanted a real mix between the grey and beige and for me I think this was more grey than I expected and I was initially a bit disappointed because of the pinkish undertone however now everything else is finished and once I have gardens in I think it will be lovely. Not sure if this helps. Re: Charnleys Knockdown & Rebuild - PCI Pics Galore Finally 318Jul 03, 2013 9:38 pm Thanks Charnley - it looks lovely in the picture and as you say the garden will make a big difference too. I would think that most warm greys would throw a pit of pink in certain lights anyway. Re: Charnleys Knockdown & Rebuild - PCI Pics Galore Finally 319Jul 03, 2013 10:24 pm Wow Wow and more Wow!!!
