The park has covered it. looks like the wife has her heart set on lot 749. As they say happy wife happy life. I will have to find out from the shire how they have come up with this water way classifcation and start looking into a site works contractor to give me a quote so I have an idea of what I will be up for.. again thanks for your help. regards steve Re: Our custom Gemmill home in Bedfordale WA - Bricking star 946Jan 19, 2013 11:31 pm Hi Steve We were given this piece of paper when we enquired about land in the estate - the shaded area must have an ATU because of the YG4 soil classification. The council should be able to confirm whether this is correct though. Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ From what I'm lead to believe ATU's work well but I'd do the research on how they work and what maintenance is required before you make a final decision. Hope this helps Follow our build blog: http://buildingourhomeamongthegumtrees.blogspot.com/ Build thread: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=53131 Re: Our custom Gemmill home in Bedfordale WA - Bricking star 947Jan 20, 2013 1:59 pm Thanks heaps for the info, Makes perfect sense, I have just found the exact page in the piles of covenants etc.. I guess I'll have to start researching this info wife's not going to change her mind about the block Wonder if any of my neighbours to be.. have got any info on what type of ATU's they used costing etc. Thank you to all for the help that you have given us so far we can't wait to start moving forward with the building stage more headache's regards steve Re: Our custom Gemmill home in Bedfordale WA - Bricking star 948Jan 20, 2013 4:05 pm The only one of us up there (that I'm aware of) who has an ATU is Chuffy - you could try sending her a PM but I know she has very limited internet access at the moment. The main two contractors that work up there are Bob Moles and NLG. I always keep an eye out when walking around down the back of the block but not so much close the slab. My excitement over the bricks was short lived... the brickies haven't been back since the first day They started work at our place earlier than planned because they were waiting on stuff to be delivered to another job which they have now gone back to finish. I was told they only had a couple of days left on the other job so hopefully they will be back on site this week. My parents are coming to Perth this weekend and I was really hoping to have a bit more completed to show them. We have found them extremely slow but I am hoping that changes when the brickies come back to site. Are you going to start your own thread? We would all love to see your plans, and pics of the build Our custom Gemmill Home in Bedfordale WA Build thread:https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=53788 Timeline on page 1 Re: Custom Gemmill home in Bedfordale WA - Come back brickie 955Jan 23, 2013 3:31 pm soakedblonde My excitement over the bricks was short lived... the brickies haven't been back since the first day They started work at our place earlier than planned because they were waiting on stuff to be delivered to another job which they have now gone back to finish. I have been told it really starts to move once you hit construction, now that my brickies are back we'll be able to see if that's true. I've found the easiest way to add pics/plans is to use Photobucket. Once you put the pic in there, just click in the IMG code box and it copies the code which you can then paste straight into here. I think there is a thread floating around somewhere with more in depth instructions.
