Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Jan 24, 2012 11:00 pm Our electrical appointment today revealed a shocker. They are trying to charge us ~$180 per network/data point instead of per location. I'm sorry but the effort to pull 6 cables vs. 1 cable from one location to another is not 6 times the cost. Sure a bit more effort to terminate the cables to the wall placed and patch panel, but that's about it. So, does anyone know of a good and reasonable person or company that can install CAT6 cabling of 20 odd points to 7 locations, all terminating in the study's patch panel? Please let me know.
