Hey karma888,

Just wanted to know if you had to pay extra to change the floor plan?

Re: Porter Davis Berkley 27 22May 12, 2012 10:28 pm Hi February 12, Thanks My DH and I love our floor plan. In regards to your questions do you mean did it cost to draw up a new house plans during Tender 'NO cost added'. During your Tender Appointment is where you can make all structure changes to you home including changing house plans. If your going to alter the house plans make sure you visit the display house so you can vilsuliase the changes and take measurements of walls, windows etc. Be aware you may need to change window sizes (like we did). Also make sure all measurements of windows, openings, walls etc are correct. During Tender is also were you include extra such as, external Cold/hot water tap, external gas point or change door size if you wanted to upgrade Pivot or double door etc... As extra cost well occur after tender appointment. The following changes that were made: Re-design Master bed room to include a flush wall to the front facade (making it square) $282.00 Extended Dining and Family section to provide a square rear section of the home $2,864.00 Re-design floor plans to add a Study/living room room (includes a void opening to dining room) $1,051.00 Altered window size for Study/Living room (no cost) Re-located bed 4 robe and door (no cost) Hope this helps any way. Best of luck on your build Cheers, Karma888 Building PD Berkley 27 BLOG: http://porterdavisberkley27.blogspot.com/ Thread: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=53564 Upcoming Events! Fixing stage (in-construction) Re: Porter Davis Berkley 27 23Jun 18, 2012 10:39 am Hey Guys, Lock up stage has been completed As you guessed it we had our Private Inspector to inspect Lock up stage. I came along with my My Private Inspector to visit my house. He explained what faults/defects he was looking for. He found one minor error in the bathroom and took a photo of the error. Overall he could not find any faults in any of the construction. I rang our SS and we meet a few days later on site, I gave him the report and i showed him the error in the bathroom. He said he would get this fix. My DH and I were very pleased that our SS listens to concerns and take quick action. PD had done a Great job so Far. Very happy with the results To see the picture of our FACADE visit my Blog (link below) Cheers, Karma888 Karma888 Building PD Berkley 27 BLOG: http://porterdavisberkley27.blogspot.com/ Thread: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=53564 Upcoming Events!
