I can see in the catchment area for Ironbark Ridge, it goes half way down Foxall Road. May be up to Kendall Place. Check out the link below: http://www.ironbarkrg-p.schools.nsw.edu ... /enrolment I'm in Mapleton Avenue off Barry Road and in the Ironbark Ridge catchment area. I'm still trying to find out reviews about schools in the area. Do you recommend Ironbark Ridge from the schools in the area? Hi there, I've just got a reply from DEC and apparently the new school won't be open before 2020, depending on enrolment needs and funding. As far as I know, Ironbark Ridge is the best public school in the Kellyville/Rouse Hill area in terms of NAPLAN results. It also has Opportunity Classes. Ideally I would like my kids (we have a boy, 6 months) in the future but the land I bought is zoned for Beaumont Hills PS which is decent, but from NAPLAN results, not as good as Ironbark Ridge. Again, NAPLAN results don't mean everything. I'm a school teacher and know the principal at Iron Bark Ridge. Sorry to say you have next to no chance getting in out of area. They are already overloaded with the current kids and are not sure how they will cope with the growth over the next few years. All schools in the area have a good rep, don't read too much into NAPLAN results. I'm also building fourth stage Gardners Ridge which will hopefully register Sep 2015. Do you know anything about chances of residents of Craven St (off foxall) getting in Ironbark? my daughter will be 4 in 2020. I would love for her to go to Ironbark... Re: Anyone else building in North Kellyville? 685Mar 06, 2018 10:54 pm Hi all, Well after buying and waiting a year for land to register, the time has finally come. Anyone else on the Foxall end of Craven Street here? We are Lot 105, just been registered as number 8. Would be great to touch base with any joining owners to get your thoughts on fencing etc. Anyway, to those of you nearby, howdy! See you for street games and beers. Cheers, Aaron (and Lisa). Re: Anyone else building in North Kellyville? 686Mar 07, 2018 5:30 am We're up on Roland Garros just off Craven St and waiting to be registered. Can I ask how long it took for your la d to be registered as the land seems to sit dormant for quite a while. Thanks, Rosa Re: Anyone else building in North Kellyville? 687Mar 07, 2018 9:47 am Hi Rosa! We bought out land at the end of 2016, it was meant to register Feb 2017 and has only just registered. So 12 months late. As to the reason it was idle, well. That's a story. Basically we were told that it was a paperwork holdup at the waterboard. Then months later it was communicated to us as a drainage issue. Then months later were were told it's soil contamination down by the creek and the Waterboard won't release the papers (Council was ready) until it's cleared and new soil brought in. At this point i called the waterboard directly to find out whats actually going on. The guy i spoke to was great in giving me everything i needed. Russ at Castlehaven had been great but i felt had limited info. The land behind us is a different developer. The land that has already been built on across the road is again, a third developer. The developer behind us had apparently known about asbestos being in the ground for 3 years. I am not sure if our developer knew until 2017. However the water easements were being drained into a pit and then drained by a truck weekly, as the pipes couldn't be connected due to the contamination. And the waterboard couldn't register until it was fixed. The developer who had the contamination on his land was trying to get money from the other two developers to help clean it up, saying it effects the pipes so it affects them. So it was like a war of funds. Meanwhile, land sat idle and it's the buyers that are effected - we had our building price go up as we burnt through the tender. If i were you, i'd get an answer on why the land has not registered. Read between the lines and try and chase things up with the right party - if theres a hold up that can be fixed. Re: Anyone else building in North Kellyville? 688Mar 26, 2018 10:38 am Hi All! I had no idea this thread existed! I bought land in north Kellyville (off Barry Rd) in December 2015. After registration was delayed for approx. 10months, we finally began the construction process with our builder. We are FINALLY coming to the end of it and are beyond thrilled to be moving in to our new home! We are currently talking to landscapers and I'm stuck as to what is and isn't allowed. We are on a corner - is there anyone else on a corner block that has or is finalizing landscaping? I have so many questions regarding fencing, pergolas, grass areas, etc. Any help would be appreciated! Re: Anyone else building in North Kellyville? 689May 22, 2018 2:49 pm Hi all, Question regarding OC - has anyone had issues getting it? Do we actually need one? My builder used a private certifier for the inspection and they are very difficult to deal with. can i go to council to get OC? Re: Anyone else building in North Kellyville? 690Jun 05, 2018 9:49 am Hi all, We have finally done our final inspection and are waiting for the bank to do their valuation before releasing final invoice to the builder. How long did yours take between the valuation to final payment to keys? so anxious!!!
