Re: Burbank SOHO2400- PCI *pics* 305Sep 30, 2012 7:11 pm well shock of my life today the whole back corner of our house has been ripped down and rebricked!!! I was laughing when hubby told the SS at our PCI that the back of the house wasnt straight...guess he was right Its making me feel sick in the stomach that we may have missed soo many more issues that we dont know about. lesson learnt I think.... always have inspections at every stage.(we didnt) Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Re: Burbank SOHO2400- PCI *pics* 307Oct 01, 2012 4:51 pm Leighlou Geez Nayzv, that's crazy Are you okay with the defining line between bricks now? Great that they fixed it up so fast! no leighlou not happy with it at all you can actually see the plastic inside the walls. really sh1t job, hopefully when we seen it it wasnt finished and the expansion lines will be filled in? we'll see on our 2nd inspection what happens....until then, we just have to sit on our hands. Re: Burbank SOHO2400- PCI *pics* 308Oct 04, 2012 2:10 pm I am sure they will fill it with Expansion joints (Silicon stuff) Once the brick is washed and couple of months later the bircks will look blended in Orchid 4200 with Burbank: Thread: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=53034 House Built in 7 Months and 2 weeks Re: Burbank SOHO2400- PCI *pics* 309Oct 12, 2012 7:09 am were in! I have no internet which really sux but for some reason today its working so Ill be quick. moving and unpacking is the hardest worstest job ever!!! but the reward at the end is overwhelming. a couple of issues on moving in- heating not working. driveway splatered with paint. hot water service slab falling away from house slab. our fantastic SS has booked in all jobs to be fixed within the next week. what a great guy hes even popped in a couple of times to see how were getting on. we recieved our coffee machine wich looks lovely in our kitchen, just need to find the pods to go in it our liason said her goodbyes at settlememt which was kinda sad, Ill miss her settlement went through without a hitch and the drive from Geelong to Altona really didnt take that much time out of our day, we packed the cars ready to move before we left. Its taken me until today to unpack everything I seriously wore the same clothes for 3 days cause I couldnt find what Id done with my packed clothes I love our new house! heres some pics...photos just dont do it justice Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Ill upload some more once I get a chance, its busy work this moving thing. Im a little overwhelmed Re: Burbank SOHO2400- were in!*pics* 316Oct 23, 2012 10:27 am Landscaping has started were going to go native grasses in the front yard with rustic looking platform and steps up to the front door. I really want it to look like parkland and the less mowing the better IMO. Our front yard will be in 2 halves the second Im hoping for just a square of grass bordered by the grasses and a central tree of some discription in the middle. the 1st half that weve started we have bark and a central what will be a pond. Hubby dug the holes with a post hole digger pretty clever of him I thought, and I spent 12 hours sunday planting and shoveling bark! before: Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ after: Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ were pretty happy so far..but sooo much still to do! Tradies are a nightmare! no one comes and does quotes and when they do they dont do as your asked! running around in circles it feels still waiting for fencing, pergola and concreting which hopefully will happen this week. our poor puppy is locked up in the shed most of the day, wish we thought of doing fences a lot sooner than we did. Anyway better stop this computer nonsence and do some more gardening Re: Burbank SOHO2400- were in!*pics* 317Oct 26, 2012 2:55 pm Looking great and trust me tradies never end... I had my concrete poured last week for the back pergola and I am still cleaning up their mess....
