I am thinking that these should be placed on roof, since the space in basement can be used differently. I'm I too wrong? Or the new trend is to hide the tanks now? He said that if I do not put them in basement he can hide them somewhere outside instead... As we have next to no room down the side of our house (1 metre) and we don't want a tank to take up other parts of our backyard so we are going to purchase a 'thin tank' the 1000L model is only 260mm so it will fit up the side of our house with plenty of room to walk past They have a 2000L model from memory it's 460mm???
