Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Jan 06, 2012 4:35 pm Hi all, Just wondering if anyone has any experience with a H class slab. Weve just been quoted $21,000 (30sq home) from one company but are thinking of swtiching over to Dennis family as they have a plan we like a lot better. Anyone built with DF around the 30sq mark and had a H slab? How much were your site fees/slab etc? Thanks! Re: H class slab costs 2Jan 13, 2012 2:20 pm Hi there We are building with Coral Homes in Brisbane. Our site classification is P with H Class properties. We do need piering thought I'm not sure exactly how much and our fixed price contract shows site costs are around the $17,000 mark. This is with a raft / waffle slab. Our block has 200mm of fill on it which is apparently why the P comes into it but it has all been compacted correctly and have compaction certificate etc. From front to back we only have 150mm of fall across the block. House is 31sq. Hope this is of some help to you ! Let me know if you have any questions. Em I am not sure whether Perth has its own way of doing things in regards to this. Most of Perth has class A (sandy soil), except for some areas near rivers or hills. 2 8284 The Soil classification has little to do with piers. The purpose of the classing of the soil is to identify the clay content and the "average expected range of movement… 2 7920 I don’t think so as the floor area over 300 square meters then it is class 3…. 12 15897 |
