No response I included the rollout maps on nbnco.com.au etc. Having never bought land before I'm staggered at the lack of information there is about the details. Re: Avonlee Henley Brook Perth 64Apr 24, 2012 7:05 pm nice. Will have to go for a look when I'm next free Re: Avonlee Henley Brook Perth 65Apr 25, 2012 11:16 am Hie Guys!! I am also building in Avonlee Henley Brook (Brabham) Lot 244, Cobb Road. The house is already being build and they have just finished the garage and half way through with the main outside wall. Karls L Re: Avonlee Henley Brook Perth 66Apr 25, 2012 4:56 pm Hi Karls Luke - Who are you building with? Will have a drive past your lot on my next visit for a sticky beak... Feel free to stop pass lot 216 and introduce yourself if we are there It is great to see the progress on the stage 2 site builds. And that the next stages seem to be coming along quickly. Im hoping the power get energised soon - so we can continue our build quickly - our builder is saying we can not progress with a generator past plate height, and that we will need the power before proceeding. We nearly have all our external walls up and they have started with our internal. I am happy. chantizee Hi Karls Luke - Who are you building with? Will have a drive past your lot on my next visit for a sticky beak... Re: Avonlee Henley Brook Perth 73Apr 28, 2012 1:03 am I am already building in the same road, Cob Road, Lot 244 and I have not been advised of any name change. it was Cob Road ever since I said my block contract way back in May 2011. But maybe something happened along the way which I am not aware of. I will soon find out. Regards Daedalus Thanks Bleh I was knocking my head against a wall with my other half last night explaining to her that I think it used to be Cobb Way. I have not ordered a letter box just yet - luckily! Don't even know my house number How long do you think til we see some road? Karls L Re: Avonlee Henley Brook Perth 74Apr 30, 2012 12:47 pm Hi all, We have recently purchased Lot 281 and can't wait to start building. We are building with Ideal Homes, has been fine so far. Most of my documents state Cobb way as that is what i thought was official. Hopefully it doesnt impact on anything too much as I have notified all associated parties of the changes. I didn't want to freak them out so I just casually waved and kept driving past. You may have just missed me as I most prob been looking at next door build or across the road. Hopefully I will be out there over the weekend again. Went out tonight after work and see that they have started the brickwork. Unfortunalty was too dark to take pics, next time make sure you stop by. Re: Avonlee Henley Brook Perth 78May 02, 2012 1:23 pm Hey Paul - all good. I will say hi if I see you around for sure. I really wanted to take pics for you during the day while I was there but it was so busy with tradies all around I didn't want to impede. I will see you around the area mate - im in a grey subaru sedan if you ever see one slowly driving around Oct 10 - Council Approval Oct 23 - Site scrape Oct 29 - Footings and Prelay OCT 30 - Slabbed Nov 6 - Bricks Delivered Nov 13 - Brickwork started Re: Avonlee Henley Brook Perth 79May 07, 2012 9:55 am Hi All, Went out there on the weekend, looking good for "3B'ers", noticed a flyer at the front of the release and finally scored a more detailed 'overall' map. I never knew what the street was called before Constable for example, and other details how it would appear Constable wont be extended out like Simony for other land releases etc. Anyway here it is - I found it useful. Having trouble telling exactly where my block sits as there are some blue pegs and pink pegs and neither indicate what they are for. Have a rough idea though. The email update stated that things would be handed over to the shire tomorrow - are they responsible for the footpaths and curbing? We considered Henley early on but there were two factors that… 1 10503 I am not sure whether Perth has its own way of doing things in regards to this. Most of Perth has class A (sandy soil), except for some areas near rivers or hills. 2 13098 1 11004 |
