It is such a fab house, looking forward to the kitchen and bathroom pics, lovely choices you have made. Interesting to hear your paint dilemma and impressed with your builder for sorting so readily. I've been stressing over the main white and am still not sure I've got it right as I think ours might come up a bit creamy. Time will tell! Re: Our Sea-change Adventure - Updated Photos 18/5 84May 22, 2012 5:07 pm Happy day for us as well. Kitchen fitted and it looks well in my opinion anyway. Bathroom cabinets also fitted and basins being installed - so in love with my en suite basins. Feel a bit so so about main bathroom and powder room but loving the en suite. Took a few photos but too much mess everywhere so will try to get better ones tomorrow. Meeting with tiler on site tomorrow. Not really sure what we need to discuss so going to post another thread seeking advice. Unless you copy someone's...it is always a little worrying. Glad you have had a happy day Re: Our Sea-change Adventure - Updated Photos 18/5 86May 22, 2012 8:49 pm wow Ruth. I cannot believe I have only just discovered your thread!!! I LOVE your design and the windows. That feature window is I saw a reference to a purple bath, so am going back to look for a pic. Seeing as you suggested my bath, I am thinking you know a few things about baths. And ditto to what everyone else said about painter letting you change paint colours. I think we went just a little too dark with our moroka colour today, so will pay much closer attention to internal paint colours now! Sounds like a lot of people find this very difficult to get right. Look forward to watching your build till the end! So there you go...I am soooo 2005 Re: Our Sea-change Adventure - Updated Photos 18/5 95May 23, 2012 12:34 pm OK as promised, a few photos - freshly painted external and just a taster of some of the internals. Loving our subtle bush-colours exterior Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Entry Hall and feature niche - we have a sideboard that just fits in here (just .... GPO being changed to a recessed one so we can actually use it!). So much happier with the main paint colour - no longer living in a yellow world. You can see the two different colours above the ensuite vanity picture below. Do you have walk mounted taps for your basins? We have our taps coming from the stone which meant we had to have taller taps to get up over the basin, bit of a nightmare but finally found some. Hi, you've probably already resolved this, however, Commbank will probably pay the funds to you after you send evidence the work is done regardless the change in the quotes. 1 35332 5 10494 2 2966 |
