Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Feb 14, 2008 8:55 pm Finally I don't have to worry about rain now the roof is complete, only to be told that one of the water pipes just happened to jump in front of someones saw while the insulation was being installed and there had been a bit of a flood. The supervisor assures me that its all fixed and the plasterers are now doing their bit and if all goes well maybe another 9 weeks to handover.

We only have one join (2 boards) to the top of our walls, although maybe ours are wider boards? And we have higher than normal ceilings - but they don't look that high! They look awesome!

Second Time 'Round Re: Plasterers have started 4Feb 14, 2008 9:26 pm We had to make a single level project home into a split level practically custom design due to our overly slopey block, so this means that the bedroom level has normal height ceilings but the living areas are all 2.9metres tall. It might get interesting trying to change the light globes but it makes it feel very spacious.
