Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Building Orchid 4200 with Burbank- Driveway Pictures 221Jun 13, 2012 9:46 pm Handover tomorrow, However I have a feeling some minor items may not be ticked off. Example 1. I was told that someone stole our undermount garbage bin. 2. rangehood cover needs to be trimmed 3. heater/cooler not commissioned yet 4. cleaners will be in the morning. 5. Minor render fix near garage door. 6. Exposed driveway wash has made my front feature bricks dirty, hope they come off tomorrow (concretor will be cleaning it in the morning) I am glad I went with my instincts about he gas smell, it got fixed today (spray soap water on the pipe and if it bubbles it is leaking) Will have an update tomorrow However they all are minor see how it goes. Today I ripped out my skirting boards in the garage and replaced with tiles. Also tiled the whole kitchen, Bubank did not tile around the cooktop. The big move is planned for the comming weekend. Ours came in our upgrade package. Its a coloured driveway and I know it's spray painted, now I'm not sure if they seal it too? Seems silly that they wouldn't, but the drive at my parents house it's only 3 months old and peeling obviously not sealed. Re: Building Orchid 4200 with Burbank- Some Pics 238Jun 23, 2012 11:32 pm They should seal it as it is colour on concrete not colour through (colour mixed with concrete)....make sure they seal yours color on will fade My house I did small cheeky to get exposed concrete, however they sealed too quick or used very little sealer. Concrete finish looks parchy. Some places darker than other places. Overall not satisfied with the concretor. Concretor coming next week to reseal. But if they want $250 or something ridiculous we'll be digging it by hand. It looks like they are getting ready to do it soon as they've removed fence & rubbish, also dug a little out the front to neaten up. Hopefully they get yours sorted. I must say Hubby and I are impressed with your garage floor. Re: Building Orchid 4200 with Burbank- Some Pics 240Jun 23, 2012 11:46 pm Do u have a pci date ? My garage floor came ok, it does have a few hair line cracks, this sealant works a treat.
