Hi,
We've signed our building contract and the building was supposed to start early this month. But then we got a call from our CS telling us that there's a sewer tie in that need to be relocated as it's located in the alfresco. Not only it gives them excuse to delay the project (as they said the relocation can only be done by South East Water, which is outside their control) but they'll bill us for whatever it costs.
Just wondering, is something like this not supposed to be included in their site costs? After all, they already did the survey to determine the site costs when we signed the final drawing and all variations, so if they missed something like this, can we actually dispute that and have a chance to win?
Thanks
