I'm not building with them, but I have seen many are that post on here, I hope for their sake this gets sorted out as I have seen the heart ache caused when builders go bust on the cosmopoliton homes thread Re: Article about NAtional Builders Group: The Age 3Dec 13, 2011 7:57 am I heard this from an Employee of NBG last week, I also heard that they have been brought out by an overseas company. Their division "homes now" had a clearance sale of all their display house furniture last weekend, so its not looking good. I have been trying to find out as much as possible about how this will affect NBG customers, as I am one myself, however I have been assured that as we have been handed over to our builder this will not impact on us. I have also came across numerous websites with negative info regarding this, not sure how reliable these are though. Fingers crossed everyone comes out of this OK and no-one gets caught up in there mess. Re: Article about NAtional Builders Group: The Age 4Dec 13, 2011 8:02 am I am building a NBG home. If its true that you pay the initial deposit to NBG then the rest to the builder who does your house its probably a case of NBGs cut is the 5% and the builder gets their profit from the remaining funds. I think the best thing for anyone thinking about building an NBG home would be to wait it out and see what happens as a result of these happenings. Anyone currently building will be OK IMO from a first glance. Re: Article about NAtional Builders Group: The Age 6Dec 22, 2011 6:54 pm Bump....
