I know my buillder supplied 50mm pavers for the drive way but council requirements had to be 60mm for the cross over. I simply requested the paving contractors details from my builders. Contacted him and asked if he would mind doing the crossover at the same time as the driveway at my expense. He gave me a quote for excavation, limestone base and laying for the crossover area. I then arranged to have the required amount of 60mm pavers (same style as the 50mm) delivered in time for him to lay it all at the same time. Best to contact your council first to find out what types of cross overs you can actually install. You should be able to find the information online, if not give them a call and they should be able to send you the info.
