Hi All,
Anyone building at Ambrosia Cranbourne West?
I bought a block from Henley last month and started construction.
It would be great to hear from future neighbors?

Re: Lexi 4 at Ambrosia Estate, Cranbourne West 2Dec 05, 2011 10:39 am Hi there, We are building at Ambrosia in Cranbourne West:) Our slab was poured last week and framing is about to start. What street are you building on? When we go to visit the lot we are amazed at the progress of the other sites across the street which are Henley (they are fast). I hope everything is going well for you with the build - if you dont mind i will follow your blog to follow your progress. We have a blog too if you want to follow ours. I am on Hermes Avenue. Henley seems to be faster than other builders but no clean as other builders. They took couple of weeks to do the temporary fence. I was told the concrete pour was delayed due to weather but when we visited the site on Saturday concrete was poured. What a surprise . Henley they keep on changing Administrators and i think i am working with the 6th person. I have arranged a private building inspector for inspection at each stage. Please do follow my blog and hopefully we will meet each other very soon Re: Lexi 4 at Ambrosia Estate, Cranbourne West 4Dec 05, 2011 12:42 pm After looking at your pics on your blog we are across the street from you- we are the corner block in front of the yellow electrical box. Our block was supposed to be the Friday before but because of weather put it off to the Tuesday but ended up doing it on the Thursday? As long as it has work done i am happy with that. One of the Henley homes up the street had framing before they put the temp. fencing on- maybe not their strong point? lol We were thinking of doing inspections at the pre plastering stage as the wiring and framing is done so they can review 2 things at once. If you dont mind me asking what company did you use and how much do they charge? Please dont feel obligated to answer - i want to be able to compare prices. I'm sure we will meet in the near distant future Forrestdale 27 Land Titled:4/11/11 Building Permit:4/11/11 Site Start Date: 16/11/11 Slab Date: 01/12/11 Frame Date:05/12/11 http://hordefamilyhome.blogspot.com/ Re: Lexi 4 at Ambrosia Estate, Cranbourne West 5Dec 06, 2011 8:25 am Hi Sammyjane31, I have sent a PM with details of the company and pricing. Re: Lexi 4 at Ambrosia Estate, Cranbourne West 6Dec 06, 2011 9:24 am Thanks for the info! Our bank will be orgainising 2 independent inspections-so we are still deciding if we should have oue own too. We were advised by our BC they will start the framing today or tomorrow -probably because we just paid our first progress payment. Any news on your place? Good to hear that framing is done I could not go there after Sunday and officially Henley will update me tomorrow evening or Friday morning with the status. If I leave early from office, thinking of doing a visit. Re: Lexi 4 at Ambrosia Estate, Cranbourne West 9Dec 07, 2011 2:52 pm Cant believe the fast progress of your builds we are building down the road (different estate) and settlement was the 4th nov and we still have a patch of dirt! Our builder does thing differently I assume http://lindeman28.blogspot.com - Our building blog Re: Lexi 4 at Ambrosia Estate, Cranbourne West 10Dec 08, 2011 7:26 am Trewman- when will your builder be applying for the building permit? Once I had that they booked site start 2 weeks later (seemed faster). You will be at the same stage as us before you know it! Apparently we get a site start date today. Theres a home in our estate win brickwork nearly completed and there settlement was the same day as us! http://lindeman28.blogspot.com - Our building blog Re: Lexi 4 at Ambrosia Estate, Cranbourne West 12Dec 08, 2011 2:04 pm Sounds like a little lagging from your builders office not having everything ready before the building permit. Our plans and soil test were done probably 2 or so weeks before building permit-we were waiting on settlement for a couple of months. We had a building permit the same day as settlement, so it was pretty quick after that. You will be there in no time and your tradies will probably be well rested after the break and ready to work on your home Forrestdale 27 Land Titled:4/11/11 Building Permit:4/11/11 Site Start Date: 16/11/11 Slab Date: 01/12/11 Frame Date:05/12/11 http://hordefamilyhome.blogspot.com/ Re: Lexi 4 at Ambrosia Estate, Cranbourne West 13Dec 08, 2011 3:14 pm We did our initial signup in may so we have been waiting a while but as you said the well rested tradey idea is keeping me happy. We dont rent at the moment either which makes things a lot easier. Will have to come for a drive through ambrosia soon. Been eyeing it off every time I drive past it on western port hwy http://lindeman28.blogspot.com - Our building blog Re: Lexi 4 at Ambrosia Estate, Cranbourne West 14Dec 08, 2011 6:49 pm Its amazing how fast the homes are going up in Ambrosia. You must be very happy - guttering on and looks like the safety rails will be going on anyday now and possibly bricks as they have the plastic coating on. Have you met with your SS yet and what is their updates? It's come around so quick! Our site supervisor tells us settlement might be a week or 2 after that. We thought we might be delayed with the sewerage issues with south east water, but we were told it could be sorted so it won't be an issue. Have they sorted the sewerage issues over your side? Re: Lexi 4 at Ambrosia Estate, Cranbourne West 19Mar 09, 2012 9:04 am Hi Camille, I spoke with Zoe in the land sales office and she said there werent any issues and then sent an email out stating there isnt an issue the developer postpone the connection until closer to lock up stage for each allotment. Congrats on PCI being today! So exciting We were told yesterday that our PCI will be at the end of the month- we had delays at vandals broke most of our windows, so the replaced the glass in most but waiting on 2 new frames! Our place is on Hermes Ave...when are you looking at moving in?? The PCI was really good it's nice to see everything finished after being locked out for so long. Your house is looking great! From the pics on your blog I know where it is used to be able to see it from my house until they started building the double storeys at the roundabout we're looking at moving in next Thursday as long as everything is fixed. Just need to get a move on with fencing and driveways now but it's been a pain in the butt getting quotes!
