Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Dec 01, 2011 8:38 am guys looking into building our first home, we have a quote for a double storey 40sq from a volume builder that has offered us fixed site costs. our block is flat standard block (maybe 30-40cm fall total), as classed M waffle slab etc.... the builder has given us a quote for our home build and fixed site costs, the cost of the home plus the site costs, mean that they have charged us approx $18,000 for fixed site costs..... it's metro melbourne estate. Im thinking it's a little expensive from what I have read, or is it about right? I am not sure whether Perth has its own way of doing things in regards to this. Most of Perth has class A (sandy soil), except for some areas near rivers or hills. 2 13098 My door tends to rub against the frame during winter and I'm looking to fix it so it closes smoothly. Looking online on Youtube I'm seeing methods to fix the alignment and… 0 692 I don’t think so as the floor area over 300 square meters then it is class 3…. 12 17936 |
