Lol ... Our kids still fight over the tv ... sigh. We have two under school age and then a teenager so we were trying to create a bit of space that the teen could get away from the little ones if she wanted. They still all argue about who is playing where, but oh well it was worth a try. Plumbers were fantastic and came out first up this morning and found the problem ... concretor spiked a pipe. We had some flash flooding here about 10 days ago, house did well, same can't be said for HSTP. Plumber rang during storm to see how it was going, after hearing about the sheer volume of water covering our yard he told us to 'pull the plug' and flood the unit. There's hubby out in knee deep water, it pelting down still and he fell arse over in a mud hole .. lol. Pulled the plug and I had horrible visions of our yard becoming a Bondi Beach of the old days with 'floaties' . All was good though, the rain eased off, HSTP worked its butt off and cleared the water/mud pouring into it and kept all the 'floaties' contained. New turf was a little stressed after the flooding and went to seed, but it has mostly settled down now and we're nursing it back to health. --------------------- Sent from my mobile device so please excuse my typing missed cakes. ~ trying to build our dream home by the sea ~ ESB's beach retreat ... from start to finish! 34Feb 14, 2012 11:00 am Finally some backyard pictures ... Thanks ... it is a great size, feels lovely and open, in our old place it was very closed in and small so trying for exact opposite . When the money tree grows it is going to have an outdoor bar and sort of outdoor kitchen. Should have thought about it more and had plumbing put in that area and had a wet bar. --------------------- Sent from my mobile device so please excuse my typing missed cakes. ~ trying to build our dream home by the sea ~ ESB's beach retreat ... from start to finish! 40Feb 14, 2012 5:16 pm kiwi How many solar panels? Does it run your home? And the neighbours.... We put in a 4kw inverter but only have 3kw of panels atm. Again when the money tree grows we'll add more panels. It doesn't quite run the house, but should be close. First bill due anyday now, so hopefully it will be a nice surprise for a change. :p --------------------- Sent from my mobile device so please excuse my typing missed cakes. ~ trying to build our dream home by the sea ~ I think I know the answer but just checking to see if anyone has had experience with it.
