All started about 18 months ago when we decided that we didn't want to bring our children up in Brisbane anymore and made a seachange to just outside Bundy.
We found the perfect block of land, so then it was time to find a builder that suited. After a false start with a local builder (waaaaaaay over budget) we ended up going with C0ral Homes and built a modified N00sa279. Below is our plan, 286sqm under roof and then a 42sqm patio built after handover, situated on the block to catch all the sea breezes.

After a hold up with the HSTP application (small block, big house and HSTP just don't go well together), another month hold up by the builder while they calculated our penalty for going past the approvals date, we finally got all the building approvals and we were underway.
I can't praise our SS enough, he was fantastic ... happily answered all my questions honestly, kept me up-to–date at all points, made up for the head office experience (seems all project builders are the same on this side).
16 weeks from site scrape to handover ... it was a very quick build.
I'll share a few pictures of the build process and then current pictures.

All boxed up and ready for the slab pour ... we've got a floating pod slab, built up a fair bit (no more dead flat block)
