Yes, plasterer did that for us on weekend and we paid him in cash.

I think the bath has just been put in its place to get it out the way, not actually installed yet, hard to install a kitchen with a ruddy big bath in the floor space :lol:

Whoever drew the pics has really started something, there is then a running commentary along the side, starting off with comments like "Your team sux" and sort of degenerating from there - couldn't put on here, might get moderated!!!
We are not offended, in fact we find it quite funny :lol:

We don't have an exact date but I asked this a week or so ago, as we need to put our current house on the market soon, and we were told about 3 more months.

Moodyfish, your'e right, the tradie does have a rather sheepish look, hadn't notice that before :lol:

But, to be fair, it can't have been him who did the drawing as it has been there for a week or so (could see it thru window) and kitchen installers only arrived yesterday.

He may have added one of the running tally comments next to it though, some of which are getting a tad naughty :shock:

Actually this lad was the cabinet makers' assistant or apprentice, only looked about 16 years old.
And, yes, he was working under supervision :wink:

Kitchen nearing completion. Very standard conventional style. Long bench top, won't know what to do with it all, 4m length.

Ok, on the home stretch now, nearly all painting done ( footy pics covered up now, was funny for a while) and tileing commenced, latest pics below.

Supervisor says handover should only be about 6 weeks away ::cheerleader::

Kitchen splashhback tiles.
Am so pleased with these; plain cream tiles with frieze picking up the bench top colour of dark burgundy( arcante rosso)

Main bedroom with bay window: walls are Stone white and skirtings and doors double strength Stone White (misleading name, colour is more of a pale cream or ivory)

And just for interest; next door neighbours house is now at frame stage, lovely view thru B2, they can sit back and admire our garage wall :roll:

I think we chose our floor plan much better suited to the block: all main windows are at least 4m from the fence line and 6m on eastern side.

Am sorry to see end of footy players in a way as it was quite amusing going to the house and seeing latest comment, there was a long running commentary alongside the pictures, I think every tradie had something to say (most of it not suitable for a public forum) :wink:

, can't just wander into house or peek thru windows any more, estate is fenced right around now by this monster, apparently vandalism and building site theft was becoming a problem. I did notice a few broken windows on houses, luckily not ours. About half of the 34 houses in development (all house/land packages with same builder) are now at some stage of construction.
