The bricks has been there for probably 2 months and at the beginning they looked great. They are Perisher from PGH (http://www.gohardware.com.au/assets/full/MA0090.jpg). Now after brick cleaning they first started to turn a bit green (this was about 1 month ago) and today when we visited the site, many bricks, around 70% of the bricks, is now yellow/redish. It looks a bit like iron, but I dont know if it is iron or something else. What is this and how to get rid of it? We took pictured and will send to the builder tomorrow. But does anyone know what this is and is it gonna go away? It looks very bad and ugly. The builder used undiluted bleach, left it for about 10 mins then hosed it off and the stain hasn't returned. Is there an inconspicuous area where you could try this on your bricks? I'm not an expert and hesitate to recommend anything, just saying what was done here and that it worked really well. Not sure this helps?
