I've since signed up with Fairmont as well. Building the Monaco. Your block seems to be a similar width to mine. It was hard to find a design to fit our block as we could only really fit one room and a double garage at the front. Re: laura2009 - my build 7Nov 04, 2010 9:12 pm evelyng - It's funny, I am so happy to see progress (any progress) after waiting so long. It feels real now. Theresa - we had the same problem trying to find a 4 bedroom single level house that would fit our block width (15.. We modified the Avignon design by Fairmont to get what we needed. We also looked at the Monaco because of its width. Re: laura2009 - my build 8Nov 05, 2010 1:09 pm Very exciting, Laura! Wooo! Love your house plan. I think your block is similar size to mine. I can't even be bothered driving past again to see if bricks have been delivered. I wonder if they will actually start the frame before Christmas? Got all excited with the slab and thought it would keep moving along with some pace but it isn't. Expected handover date given to us is 20 June 2011 - that's so far away (birthdays, christmas, easter, summer, autumn, winter!) The letter said they have built in extra days because handover originally fell during a public holiday.
