Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Oct 29, 2011 10:22 am Had our PCI on 14th of October 201, its been 15 days and they haven't still fixed majority of the defects. What I undertood from the tradies is the regional manager is trying to drag things so we will sign off on the final PCI. We have the tiler and painter fixing things today. Is thr any way we could ask the builder to rectify these defects after handover ( HIA contract) Defects 1) Glass splashback not of the same dimension as per contract( contract 650mm height, installed 645mm) 2) Rest of the defects are outside the house any suggestions are welcome, thank u Re: Waiting for Handoover after PCI --- Simonds Home 2Oct 29, 2011 1:30 pm I think you will have a harder time getting them fixed after handover. They were amazing.
