Really appreciate it Re: Waterford County, Chisholm - Who else is there 25Dec 09, 2012 9:47 pm Just wondering if you could recommend any one that does fencing, gates and concreting? Your house is looking very nice, my fiance has been dropping in every week or so to have a look while i am away... So if you see someone cruising around your streets in a green car, it is just her and not someone trying to case the area! Cheers Re: Waterford County, Chisholm - Who else is there 26Dec 10, 2012 7:06 pm Phew thats a relief - very theiving looking car. lol. Bet you'll be glad when they start on the works to get the road done, that way will look like a block not a paddock. And we will be glad the dust is gone. We used the following for driveway and fences - however cant help with gates as built our own Driveway - Elitecrete - good job and reasonable price - http://www.elitecrete-concrete.com/ ( if you contact andrew just let him know that we passed on his details and he will look after i'm sure) Fences - all hills fencing - good job good price and quick job - http://www.allhillsfencing.com.au/ If you see us around and want to check out their work just stop by. MDJ Homes - Bordeaux 14 + now with improvements Re: Waterford County, Chisholm - Who else is there 27Dec 14, 2012 8:51 pm Lol thanks for that! I have emailed him, but couldnt pass your name on as i don't know it lol.. I am sure he will work it out due to the address! I noticed the block next to ours was sold, then went back on the market... Maybe the procorp collapse had something to do with it.. Re: Waterford County, Chisholm - Who else is there 28Dec 14, 2012 8:52 pm Hopefully early march i will be able to drop in and have a look! Re: Waterford County, Chisholm - Who else is there 29Dec 18, 2012 3:35 pm Did you have to be hard wired up for the NbN on top of the opticomm setup? We just got a pcv asking for $680 for nbn prewiring... Which i am not too happy to pay for considering we have fibre to the home through opticomm.... Re: Waterford County, Chisholm - Who else is there 30Dec 19, 2012 7:55 am Cost us a couple hundred for builder to run conduit from pit out front to below meter box. Then 600 to opticom to fit box and connect box to pit. Builder already had all wiring at outside box ready to go into box I just had to terminate and connect them( should have had someone do it but couldn't justify even more cost for simple job) MDJ Homes - Bordeaux 14 + now with improvements Re: Waterford County, Chisholm - Who else is there 31Dec 19, 2012 12:07 pm Yeh this is to run from street to house... Sounds ******* to me! Shouldnt need nbn wiring with opticom Re: Waterford County, Chisholm - Who else is there 32Dec 21, 2012 6:56 am Yea I would question it myself. Not sure what they mean by nbn ( could be just there term for fibre in general). But opticom run the fibre from street to house. Builder just installs the conduit( or you can do yourself providing correct install done) Could they be also talking data and aerial connections internal of the house as well? MDJ Homes - Bordeaux 14 + now with improvements Re: Waterford County, Chisholm - Who else is there 33Dec 22, 2012 6:44 pm Yeh i have.. Waterford county have said no need for any nbn installations, they are going to talk with our builder and sort it out.. Now its christmas so will have to wait until after they get back from holidays. Cheers for the help Re: Waterford County, Chisholm - Who else is there 35Jan 06, 2013 4:34 pm dann Bumping this thread up.. Just curious as to how much your site costs were estimated at? I'm heading across tomorrow to pay my holding deposit on a block. Great news dann. Which stage are you buying in? I am sorry, but i can not help with how much the site costs were for my block.. We had a fixed price building contract so it was all included... Who are you building with? Re: Waterford County, Chisholm - Who else is there 36Jan 06, 2013 5:42 pm benblinkau Great news dann. Which stage are you buying in? I am sorry, but i can not help with how much the site costs were for my block.. We had a fixed price building contract so it was all included... Who are you building with? Stage I - The Hills.. The land won't be registered until April which makes good for me as it gives me a chance to save an extra few thousand.. Ah that is fair enough, we looked at a breakup from Huxley and they estimated $26,000 for site costs, which my dad thinks is fairly high considering the block in question. I am currently looking at Coral and their Noosa floorplan.. But will all come down to budget. I haven't seen stage i yet, will keep an eye on the website. We also liked the noosa, but ended up going with eden brae... At least you have some time on your hands to do the rounds. Our block will be registered soon, but have agreed a late settlement so that the time between settlement and build is as short as possible. Re: Waterford County, Chisholm - Who else is there 38Jan 07, 2013 1:21 pm Hi dann and welcome. Off memory our site costs were about $15 grand plus soil tests and reports. Due to type of ground our slab had to have piers. Not sure where stage I is as cant find it on a map bit depending on soil type could account for a bit extra. But would ask what's incorporated in those costs being so much. Exciting times Ben-work has begun on the site works. Will start to look like a street soon. MDJ Homes - Bordeaux 14 + now with improvements Re: Waterford County, Chisholm - Who else is there 39Jan 07, 2013 2:24 pm Thankyou for the welcome and the details, are you also near the stage H area fifteensixty?. Coral are getting back to me within the next week or so with a complete breakdown and quotation so will be interesting to see the final price. What plan did you end up going with benblinkau? Change of plans since the block I was originally looking at, ended up having a large green electrical box to be placed on it... Rather upsetting because it was a lovely block. Ended up paying a holding deposit on a block in Stage H instead. Good to see Daracon was there today starting work on Both stage H and I earthworks.. Exciting times We are building a lawson 26+ (its actually around 30), we wanted the lawson 27 but had to squeeze it on the block... Our dealings with eden brae have been pretty good so far... A few little dramas that we are trying to sort now but its just the sort of things that come with building... My fiance told me that they have started doing the roadworks, that is good to hear.. Where is stage I in relation to H? A survey must’ve completed by a certified surveyor. This form part of every DA requirement 3 225113 |
