Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Soil Tests 2Oct 28, 2011 9:13 am P class can be anything as it is used as a classification for soil conditions/structure that don't fit into any of the other soil classification formulae or have issues such as excessive fill/debris, large trees relatively close to the building envelop, poor drainage conditions or areas prone to flooding, etc. Nobody can really tell you what a P-class site costs over an M or H-class site because there is set guidelines/formula in terms of slab construction for a P-site (it's basically a slab and/or drainage customised for the conditions on your site).
