So in my last update the frame had started, well now frame is complete, windows are in, the house has been wrapped, the plumbing rough in is in and today our roof tilers started!! ( We have an awesome neighbour across the rd who sent my hubby a pic this morning of the roof tilers ) So 2 progress payments later and the mortgage is growing, but so is our house We also got a call yesterday letting us know there was been a staff shuffle at head office and we now have a new SS!! Bit excited about that after all the dramas with our previous one! I have some pics we took a few days ago with the roof tiles on, but the capping wasn't completed. Heading out tonight for another look! I found a few spots in my house where the cappings / flushing were not done properly. SS has taken it on board and will be fixing them asap. We are really happy with the way the brick is coming up! Our brickie is an older guy who works on his own, so he is taking his time, but he is doing an awesome job And while he has been bricking away our plumbing and electrical rough in has been going on inside and when we went up for a look over the weekend our plaster had been delivered! Woo Hoo! We are so excited with how things are moving along! He was fantastic, we are so happy with the end result. Whilst it took a while being a one-man-job, each brick has been laid perfectly. It makes a real difference to the facade. Things have been absolutely crazy with work, life in general and having pregnancy exhaustion on top of it all! Well we are all locked up, plastered, fixing is done, painted and tiled!!! Things are flying along! We had our fix walk through on Tuesday 17th and our SS gave us the approx completion timeframe as 6-8 weeks!! Woo Hoo!!
