Painting? Tiling? Re: Our Lamont 2600 - Tiling Complete -Pics Update! :D 123May 11, 2012 2:19 pm Sorry Guys - have been in hospital with High BP - so my promised update didn't happen We are pretty much done! As far as we can tell everything is complete internally (we are fully locked out now, the last time we were able to get in was just after tiles were completed) so tiles, carpet, plumbing and electrical fit off, shower screens and fly screens are all done It seems we are just waiting on the driveway, external painting, blinds and clothes lines to be completed. Hubby spoke with our liasion on Wednesday and she advised we should hear from our SS next week with a date for PCI!! WOOOO HOOOO!! I'm 28 weeks this Thursday, so hanging in there trying to keep this munchkin in as long as possible - Drs have advised with my blood pressure being crazy it will most likely mean a prem bub, but hoping for at least another 6-8 weeks yet before bub arrives. A cheeky pic of our little munchkin Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ As above wall colour is Moon River. Don't get me wrong I love the colour of tiles on the hob and they look great in the kitchen and the laundry as in the pics below, but I just feel like maybe instead of the lighter cabinets in the bathrooms we should have stuck with the concept oak or gone with a lighter contrast tile on the bath hob, it feels like everything in the bathroom is all the one colour and blends into itself. I'm hoping once I get the chocolate coloured accessories, towel ladder and towels in there that will break things up a bit http://i241.photobucket.com/albums/ff214/sarbear0781/House%20Pics/IMG_1146.jpg Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Sarah, Andy & Parker - Building Our First Home - Burbank Lamont 2600 Our Thread: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=51696 Re: Our Lamont 2600 - Waiting for PCI date -Pics Update! :D 129May 15, 2012 1:40 pm Oh bless .... WOOOO HOOOO!!! Not long now!!!!! WAHOO Photos look great. It will be lovely for you to be in your new house in a few weeks! Hope you got plenty of helpers to move. How many weeks does that make it from when painting was completed? I'm trying to work out what time frame we should expect until completion. Back to baby talk how great is the 3D ultrasound photo, just beautiful! Have you picked out names? Re: Our Lamont 2600 - PCI booked for 01/06/12 :D 135May 16, 2012 10:27 am Not long now and love to see more pics How are you planning to tackle the PCI? I know it has been covered in other threads. Some ideas that has been floating in my head: 1. Have a template for each room and tick off as I go through 2. Will the SS be patient if you need to climb up the man hole and check (Insulation, unwanted skylights etc...) 3. Do an external inspection before hand, therefore on the day you concentrate on the inside. 4. Buy more dots/stickies so you do not runout **You have over 2 weeks to plan All the best Orchid 4200 with Burbank: Thread: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=53034 House Built in 7 Months and 2 weeks Re: Our Lamont 2600 - PCI booked for 01/06/12 :D 136May 16, 2012 11:45 am doublej2500 ::cheerleader:: Not long now and love to see more pics How are you planning to tackle the PCI?
