Photos galore!!!! 369Mar 26, 2012 8:46 am mike- How's it going Eiffel? All settled in? Thanks again everyone!! We are settling in very well.....still think we are living in a swish hotel! Still unpacking......still moving some stuff over from my parents.....but we are getting there!! Had a really busy weekend so not much done on the house front........but hopefully today my OH will have the curtains up in our bedroom - can't wait!! This also means we can stop using part of our DS1's bed frame to hold up our temp curtains and he might actually get his bed frame built this week!! We still don't have the fence up between our house and the house in front so are going to have to rig up a temp solution by the end of the week as my parents are off on holidays and they are still looking after our dog. My inlaws are coming down next week for Easter so that's incentive right there to get a good wiggle on this week with the unpacking! We still don't have the internet connected (hopefully this week - phone was put on last week) so once I am back up and running properly I'll post some more pics and get a chance to catch up on everyone elses builds!! Oh and I really need to think about when I'm going to meet some crazy H1 ppl this week!! Just need to sort out OH and children's schedules!! ttfn Our building thread: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=51657 Re: Eiffel's build!! Haha - I was worried about you.......honest!! That was nice of you though to walk me to the non-existant trams - how did it get that late!!! Yes, taxi driver was fine......although the address I gave him - he said it didn't exist!!! That got me a little concerned! But I made it back no probs!! Got home the next morning in time to pick DS1 up from kinder so all good! (do wish I had stuck around for Thurs night too - dinner on Lygon st was just around the corner (literally) from where I was staying!!) Next time!!! Righto, have the inlaws coming soon and I need to finish this housework!! No one told me having a house this big would mean housework would take ages!!! Bet you're loving being in. Am absolutely loving being in our new home!! Everything is working out really well. We had the inlaws stay over Easter and for the first time ever, I really enjoyed having them stay!! I am not sure if it was because we had a heap of room and weren't sitting on each other (as it had been in our other houses) or what - but it was great! We had 14 over for Easter Sunday lunch with a few more for afternoon tea and the kitchen performed a treat - am so glad we spent all that time planning where we wanted everything as it just worked!!! OH was very impressed as he did the majority of the cooking!! News on the house front is that we are still unpacking!! And they have finally started on building the fence between us and the house in front (we are at the back of a battleaxe block for new players!) Can't wait for the fence to be finished and then we can get a much better idea of what's what and what we have to play with!! Really need to sort out some moved in photos for all you pic piggies!!
