Do you have any hint of a handover date as yet? Must be getting close. ------------ Sent from my mobile device ... please excuse the typing missed cakes. ~ trying to build our dream home by the sea ~ Re: Building with Coral - Noosa 279. Pic Update 16/03 82Mar 16, 2012 7:56 pm Hey ESB how's things?? SS said about 3-4 weeks for PCI all going well, can't wait. Bar an early little hiccup Coral have been great. We went the doors on the study as the wife does a fair bit of work from home and looking more and more like she will work from home on a permanent basis so we really wanted a set up for her where she could go in and shut herself away from the rest of the house if needed. We kind of wished we went a 1200 cavity for the study and theatre room now but not to be. Building with Coral - Noosa 279. Pic Update 16/03 83Mar 17, 2012 7:15 am We love the cavities but are having nothing but issues with them I'm hoping they'll be able to fix them at the six month check. ------------ Sent from my mobile device ... please excuse the typing missed cakes. ~ trying to build our dream home by the sea ~ Re: Building with Coral - Noosa 279. Pic Update 16/03 84Mar 18, 2012 5:54 pm What issues are you having?? We only have one cavity slider in the kitchen pantry. We loved the 1200 face of wall sliding door they have in a display down here, can match it to your front door and looks great. But got a quote and just couldnt justify the cost of $1800 Building with Coral - Noosa 279. Pic Update 16/03 85Mar 19, 2012 5:30 pm We've a few cavity sliders and none of them run smoothly (worse after rain), the toilet in utility and ensuite don't/can't be locked, main toilet often comes off track and occupants can't get out (not great for children), media room doors only meet properly if one door is pulled out of the cavity completely and all of them have deep scratches in the paint work where nails/screws have been put through too far on the frames and are scratching the doors on opening/closing. The 1200 wide door sounds great .... not the price though ------------ Sent from my mobile device ... please excuse the typing missed cakes. ~ trying to build our dream home by the sea ~ Re: Building with Coral - Noosa 279. Just about to commence the process of my second build with coral so hanging around again =p 2014 - Prepping to build the Soho 4 with Plantation homes, industrial style 2009 - Built the Brampton with Coral Homes viewtopic.php?f=31&t=15399&start=280 Re: Building with Coral - Noosa 279. Pic Update 16/03 88Mar 19, 2012 6:47 pm Hey Jess which design are you going with?? Rooftiles - Bristile gun metal shingle. Facia - Shale Grey. Gutter - Woodland grey. Also went shale grey garage door, we ate painting the house so a little worried it all comes together nicely. Caesar stone benches went in the kitchen and bathrooms today and we really like them so a relief there. Re: Building with Coral - Noosa 279. Pic Update 16/03 90Mar 19, 2012 6:55 pm Working day work today and tomorrow (7am-7pm so too dark) so pics will have to wait till Wednesday. Walking around the site with a torch, I'm sure people driving past was thinking I was up to no good haha. Re: Building with Coral - Noosa 279. Pic Update 16/03 92Mar 19, 2012 9:48 pm Thanks for that! We're pretty decided on the Avoca 25 this time...the plan doesn't really "sell" the house as such - but when we walked into the display we loved it. Just waiting for our first coral home to sell so we can choose a block and hopefully get started 2014 - Prepping to build the Soho 4 with Plantation homes, industrial style 2009 - Built the Brampton with Coral Homes viewtopic.php?f=31&t=15399&start=280 Re: Coral Homes - Noosa 279. Ask the council if there is a chance of getting build over easement exemption. Sometimes easements are unused and 24cm is not all that much. Good luck.
