I think it was also because we didn’t have any internet connection at the place until now.. The colours that we had selected have turned out really nice and we are loving the plan.. My PCI is scheduled in the end of the month and I have been going to the house each weekend to pick up on any things that weren't right so they could be fixed sooner rather than later. Did you get your own inspector or just used theirs? Sorry if this has been answered elsewhere. I am up to my 3rd BC now and wasnt informed that there was a swap between the 2nd and 3rd, not really happy about that. I loved the first one. My SS is great and very helpful which is great. Am loving the garage floor and also would love to know what you used. Its a good idea. The process takes so long but it is going to be amazing once everyone is in! I didn't do much research into which product I should get, so just went into masters and got a 10L of Sikafloor Duraseal for around $150.. http://www.sika.com.au/cmc/Datasheets/tds/SikafloorDuraseal_tds.pdf Team PD hanks for sharing your pictures, your home is looking stunning. Cheers, Ebony Hi Ebony, the issues are being resolved but at a snails pace.. I just have to keep sending repeated emails like a broken record.. "what about this... what about that.." Sheeny Did you get your own inspector or just used theirs? Sorry if this has been answered elsewhere. Hi Sheeny, glad that you found the thread helpful. We used New Home Inspections to do the inspections. You gotta check things yourself too as the inspector can miss a few things.. like our sinks were leaking which the inspector didn't check.. but it's definitely worth getting independent inspections done. Your home looks beautiful! We built the Forestdale 27 and I have to say I love the floor plan - we both have good taste. lol I have been meaning to ask you - where did you buy your hall/entrance table? Absolutely love it and would love something like it. I cant wait to start on some landscaping- we are waiting on the fences to go in hopefully in the next few weeks and for the driveway which will be most likely at the end of June:( Thanks and keep the pictures coming!! We were looking for an entry/hall table again on the weekend ... went to HN but all they seemed to have was buffets we've been in the house for almost 9 months ... why is it so hard to find things?? Re: Porter Davis Forestdale 29 in Tarneit - We've got the ke 96May 29, 2012 11:38 am Ikea have some but dont look as nice as baronx's. I love the dark wood. We already have a buffet which is being used for what its meant to hold china etc. and have actually thought it we find a small buffet table that could work but then again they can be sometimes too bulky. BTW McLaren what is HN?? We found a place near us that has one for $450 which i think it a bit pricey, but they are a store depot and said they can negiotate prices. So once we are done with fences and driveway i may go back there and see what bargain they will offer:) Forrestdale 27 Land Titled:4/11/11 Building Permit:4/11/11 Site Start Date: 16/11/11 Slab Date: 01/12/11 Frame Date:05/12/11 http://hordefamilyhome.blogspot.com/ Re: Porter Davis Forestdale 29 in Tarneit - We've got the ke 97May 29, 2012 12:45 pm HN is Harvey Normans or Hardly Normal as some call it For info on our build: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=43093 Built the McLaren by Dechellis - slab down 22 Feb - handover 30 Aug 2011 - and gardens finished 9 Dec 2012!! Sammyjane31.. your house looks stunning ! totally with u on the floor plan.. i’m in loooove too! We had been looking for a console table for a long time as well until we came across this at Freedom furniture. It was a bit over than what we had planned to spend but we really liked it & couldn’t be bothered anymore so we just got it. Good thing though is that you can get these on 6 months interest free which kinda makes up for the price.
