We are deciding between Kurrajong, Brown Terrain or Mocha bricks - Boral were kind enough to provide some addresses where we can see the bricks in real which will make it easier to decide. What is your opinion on rendering facades these days? Is it becoming a little outdated? I've noticed that alot of houses in our estate aren't rendered and at most only have the portico or a small area rendered. In my opinion, the ones that look the best in the selection are the fully rendered and at least partly rendered facades. I agree with the last post that you can change the whole look of the house by changing colours of the render down the track. As for going out of date: Everything dates including brick..... I'm living in a brick home at the moment that is orange... I'm sure it was totally cool when it was built!!! Not anymore!!!!! Go for what you think looks great right now. Good luck.
