I would have thought that would be one of the easier things to fix I agree with not accepting the house if its not fully locked up and hope they either fix it today or let your tradies in before its fixed. Re: Chuffy's Bedfordale Build: and baby makes 5! 828Dec 12, 2012 10:20 pm Awe thanks so much everyone. Not really sure what bothers me about the bathrooms and laundry (all the same colours). The grout is too cream for the tiles (I'd assumed it was more white), the bench tops are more cream than the sample looked so altogether I'm just not sure it works. We can always 'colour-in' the grout if it bothers me too much Can't wait to post the kitchen when lights and flooring is in. LOVE my kitchen Re: Chuffy's Bedfordale Build: and baby makes 5! 829Dec 12, 2012 10:25 pm enelya And the size of DD's wardrobe is massive!!!! God I hope by the glass company they don't mean my work! Not sure exactly! We do the frames glass and screens. But they may use glaziers for quick turnaround (we cant do same day as we order glass on demand) or insurance claims for vandalism... I was checking to see if we had anything to reglaze it but thought they may have gone through a different glazier. Her robe is nearly bigger than mine hahaha! Will be good when she gets older!! You must be so excited for Friday! Can't wait to see more photos!!! Re: Chuffy's Bedfordale Build: and baby makes 5! 833Dec 13, 2012 11:42 am Hi Chuffy wha a pain about your handover being pushe back. I love your bathroom. I dont know whether its true or not but when I was in picking our tiles etc last weekend the owner of the tile place we went through said that grout does tend to lighten a bit over time, so it may get a bit lighter for you. It's so hard to pick a grout colour there is not a huge range yet there is every different colour possible in tiles. That said I think your colours look beautiful. Goodluck for handoer I hope that window gets fixed Re: Chuffy's Bedfordale Build: and baby makes 5! 834Dec 13, 2012 5:07 pm I saw the glazier at the front of your place this arvo!!!! Sooo excited to finally be almost in our home just getting ready to leave for 2nd PCI before going to get the keys! Woooohoooooo! Re: Chuffy's Bedfordale Build: and baby makes 5! 839Dec 15, 2012 6:30 pm Woooooooo! Congratulations!! KEYS OMG Re: Chuffy's Bedfordale Build: and baby makes 5! 840Dec 15, 2012 10:10 pm We have keys!!!! So excited to Finally be almost in our house. There are still a few things to get fixed - two werent picked up at PCI, one of which I think our SS tried to fob us off. In short, we changed height of overheads over fridge so our fridge wld fit. It's been installed 4cm lower than our plan so guess what? Our fridge won't fit! Our SS said there is an allowance for them to get it wrong but 4cm to me is too far out. For the last 2 years I've lived with a fridge not in the kitchen and I expect our new house to fit it!!! Anyway onto better things! Our laminate timber floors started today. Painter never turned up so he's expecting to come on Monday now. Not ideal as flooring has started but at least it's before carpet goes in. Soooo without further ado, here's some pics of our flooring!!!!!
