Cost us $1500 to have it done by the builder @ prestart. How come yours was $1481 SB???? We had the same builder as you first time - must have been the extra metre lol Re: Chuffy's Bedfordale Build: Roof this week! 431Aug 13, 2012 3:16 pm ![]() How come yours was $1481 SB???? We will see what a sparkie can do it for after handover as that means we don't have to pay $500 VF nor the 35% builders markup. So, if a sparkie can do it for around $600ish we'll be more than happy to do it later ![]() ![]() ![]() Re: Chuffy's Bedfordale Build: Roof this week! 433Aug 15, 2012 9:54 pm Glad that you're happy! Re: Chuffy's Bedfordale Build: Roof this week! 435Aug 15, 2012 10:06 pm Well little piccie piggies, no pics as of late as nothing much has happened. Electrician has been in and also the bricks have been cut for the pipes. Not sure if plumber has been in but it all looks the same as it did a week ago. We have eaves, gutters, facia but that's it. Apparently (brick cutter hot guy told me) that roof is booked for Wednesday so still another week to wait for that. With all the rain we've had the insides of the house is just water and brick dust mixed into a lovely red mud. Pretty sure they wait for house to dry out before putting roof on so I have EVERYTHING crossed we don't get rain before Wednesday. Otherwise that will delay us again. Starting to wonder if we will even make it before Christmas! But promise to put pics up when roof is on ![]() Re: Chuffy's Bedfordale Build: Roof this week! 436Aug 15, 2012 10:08 pm Just checked the weather forecast and, of course, rain forecast for Tuesday. ![]() ![]() ![]() Re: Chuffy's Bedfordale Build: Roof this week! 437Aug 15, 2012 11:06 pm RAWR at sky! Re: Chuffy's Bedfordale Build: Roof this week! 438Aug 15, 2012 11:50 pm I emailed our 'new' CLO (lady who is taking over while our normal one is in Europe, lucky duck!!!!) asking when roof is booked. I said I hoped it was by Monday as originally told as we have now waited 4 MONTHS from slab down to roof on and we do not want to be kept waiting ![]() ![]() ![]() P.S We'll be painting the nursery PINK Re: Chuffy's Bedfordale Build: Roof this week! 439Aug 16, 2012 12:26 am OMG OMG OMG AWWHHH a GIRL!
