I have been lurking around these forums for the past few months (thanks for all the great advice that everyone has thought of already!)
My partner and I (and daughter) are building with Cavalier homes in Townsville with a custom design that we have tweaked to our liking. It has certainly been an endeavour in getting to where we are now (a very long story in itself) however it's a good feeling to know we are finally getting somewhere
To give you some context we are building on a 495SQm block in Townsville within an estate called Sanctum, it is a little under a 20 minute drive from the CBD which is just how we like it
05/04/11 - Signed land contract
09/08/11 - Signed building contract (we did the majority of our changes between the pre-contract and contract stage)
19/08/11 - Settled on land
14/09/11 - Development approval
20/09/11 - Foundations poured
26/09/11 - Slab poured
