We are building in the North East I will PM you as I noticed that you got a few upgrades with your sales consultant... including a driveway. I'd be interested to hear how you managed this as our sales consultant said they don't do driveways AND he couldn't budge on anything!!!! We received a call yesterday advising that we had been allocated a Building Coordinator and he will call us this week to discuss appointments for Tender + Contract. How did you go with the lounge window? Re: Oakdale 29 through PD 5Feb 06, 2013 10:51 am ftdt7882 ftdt7882 skye02 We have just put down our $1k on the Oakdale 26! Where are you building? We received a call yesterday advising that we had been allocated a Building Coordinator and he will call us this week to discuss appointments for Tender + Contract. How did you go with the lounge window? Hi Fleur, I am yet to hear anything! We received our new quote (still not sure why i needed a new quote) which was incorrect. The base price had gone up and a few things seemed to be missing although it was the same price! Need to go through everything with a fine tooth comb! I am meant to be having a meeting to sign some docs (not sure what yet) so we can then be assigned a building coordinator but i wont be signing a thing until the quote is correct and i have some "promises" in writing. i will discuss that window at our meeting - still think that side of the house will be right on the boundary but ill soon find out. We have brought our site start forward to June which is exciting. How has it all gone for you? Have you visited Hopetoun Interiors? Re: Oakdale 29 through PD 6Feb 06, 2013 11:31 am I imagine that will be to sign your final quote and general plans for the house? After paying our $1k, we had to initial all pages of our final quote (but we have changed it since!), initial that we understood the building process and initial the basic plans for the house (just like what you see on the website really). I forget what this appointment was referred to! Re: Oakdale 29 through PD 7Feb 06, 2013 11:41 am Oh right, well our final quote wasnt right at all so im hoping it is fixed soon so i can go over it before the meeting. Remember our discussion regarding the facade? Well i think because i am building the smaller version there isnt as many windows at the front (the whole reason i upgraded) so it might actually be better for me to go to standard facade (which has the pillar) - i will have to discuss that too. Re: Oakdale 29 through PD 8Feb 13, 2013 10:11 am We now have our tender, colour/electrical, tile and contract appointment all locked in. I also have the details of our BC so I'll be asking a few questions over the coming weeks, trying to make sure we have everything in place! We are heading back out to the Oakdale display in a few weeks to look at bit more at the colour scheme, I really like it but I can't remember what colour the window frames were etc! Have you heard from your BC yet, Cara? Re: Oakdale 29 through PD 9Feb 13, 2013 11:11 am Oh how exciting for you! Cant wait to hear how it all goes and what to expect! I pretty much know all the colours in that display if you want to know haha! Now window colour I am almost certain is Jasper (but it could be woodland grey) - at least that narrows it down for you. Havent heard from the BC yet. Did you also know they have scrapped caesar stone and now have a new stone called essa stone? I am finding out from my SC if i can still pick caesar stone because I have already settled on a colour. I will keep you informed Re: Oakdale 29 through PD 10Feb 13, 2013 11:45 am I know of a couple of colours but I wanted to double check the gutters etc. I think you are right, the Windows look like Jasper, I quite like that colour! Hopefully you hear from your BC soon. I made all of our appointments for 9am so if we ran over we had time to spare in the day for this I had read about Essa stone. I really liked a colour in the Caesar stone range. I was told that we could choose from both (that was before Christmas) but maybe now we only have the option of one. We are going back to Hopetoun in a few weeks to look at colours etc a bit more in depth, I might check then. What colour Caesar stone did you like? Re: Oakdale 29 through PD 11Feb 13, 2013 1:28 pm I think when my time comes i will try and make the appointments at 9 too - also because we will be fresh to make decisions. I liked one of the standard white caesar colours - it was either osprey or snow ice (something like that - i know it when i see it). What date is your first appointment - i will diarise so i can hound you with questions afterwards haha Re: Oakdale 29 through PD 13Feb 13, 2013 2:13 pm Ok all dates are noted in the diary. Your appointments will be here before you know it!! We are building at the end of June - it was going to be August but PD wanted to charge us $1,000 to hold our prices so we brought it forward. I will let you know when we hear from our BC - we are also going away in March so that might impact our appointment dates. To think that over 2 months ago we put a deposit on land is just crazy! Hopefully you get your appointments soon. If yours are before mine, I'll be hassling you to see how you went! haha yep sounds good make the footing bigger to to allow for the pipe in the middle 3 7502 Hi When it rains in a particular direction water comes through the security door.
