Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Question for the Henley built houses 2Sep 02, 2011 11:48 am Hi There, Twiggy! This was my timeline: 17/8 - Construction complete and file given to handover department. 19/8 - Handover department's inspection. 27/8 - Our PCI. 10/9 - Handover the keys! (would have been a week after our PCI, but the bank lost our faxed form ) 14/9 - Telstra trenching for phones (digging up the front so no other trades could come in that day) 15/8 - timber flooring (2 days) 17/8 - carpet installed (2 days) 24/8 - Appliances installed (had to wait for the flooring to go in first!) 25/9 - Our first night in (didn't want to move in without heating/hot water) It took a while, but once we had the keys and we were free to come and go as we pleased the waiting was over! It was just a matter of making sure I had organised everyone else to come in and do what they had to do in the right order!! We couldn't start moving in any stuff until all the flooring had been done as there'd be twice the cleaning and moving to do. Good luck!! Henley - Wilshire Mk 3 ... I love my house!! All we are waiting on now is the painter to do last but of render and touch ups, and the range hood. We're very happy with how our house is looking Land Deposit - 18/12/2009 Became a land Baron - 21/12/2010 Site Start - 27/1/2011 All moved in!!
