Yes we're very happy with how it's coming along I think it was an Austral Brick but the colour was Chocolate with the white mortor. Not much to show just yet but with the PCI next week we'll have photos then Re: Building in Richmond SA - Lock Up 11th April 2013 149May 17, 2013 9:23 am We had a bit of a nosey this evening as we don't have another time to walk through before then but from what we could see the carpets are in, lighting/electrical fittings have starting to be installed, I could also get a glimpse of the mirror in the ensuite which also showed the reflection of the shower frame (or should I say glass as it's frameless!), plus the frameless mirror doors of the built in's are also in place as well. The only other thing that happened recently is out original Zampetti oven is no longer available and they wanted to replace it with a Technika, after some review hunting we didn't want the Technika so have upgraded to a Smeg for only a small additional charge. So overall we are very happy with how everything is looking and have set the date for Monday 3rd June for handover! Would be like Santa coming when we were all kids Make sure you give us an overview as to how it all goes and any valuable hints as to what to look out for !!!! Thanks Miss Mia! I must admit I had a hard time sleeping last night! Mainly out of excitement because we hadn't seen a lot of the finishing touches! Our SS was really easy going, he's been great throughout the whole process and really on the ball with things so we weren't anticipating any issues at all. I had read through our contract again this morning to refresh my memory and to also check a few things that we had noticed missing last time we went through and that did help us out. We had two things on our list that we thought could have been overlooked, the first being the fly screen that we had added to the front window which hadn't been installed last time we'd gone by and also the colour of the shelves in the linen cupboard. When we got there the fly screen was on it just needs to be stained and the linen cupboard was an oversight from our initial consultant who didn't write down what colour we wanted them but they are fixing it up without any drama's! Reasonable price? So was there nothing mentioned for the shelves anywhere may have to check mine The selections mentioned the butlers pantry but because we added it to the linen cupboard in the pre-construction selections appointment the colour wasn't listed anywhere. So may be a good idea just to double check.
