Hi,
I'm building a new home and would appreciate some help on the colour scheme that we have selected. We have signed the tender but changes could still be made but it will need to be done early in writing as a variation so would love to hear your thoughts asap before contract
Facade:
Bricks: Austral Homestead Tan
Mortar: Off white, Raked
Roof tiles: Barramundi
Gutters/Fascia/Downpipes: Woodland Grey
Garage Door: Dune
Windows: Timber - rich walnut (aluminium woodland grey to remainder of home and with black fly screen)
Entry Door: Timber - rich walnut
Render to front porch: Area 1 = Dulux Mud Puddle P12B4, Area 2 = Deep Walnut P13A7
Sycon battens/Hardiplank/Foam above garage: Mud Puddle
Kitchen:
Cupboards/drawers: White vinyl gloss
Overhead cupboards: 55mm slimline profile, Opal 069
Splashback: Blooded red metallic
Benchtop: Caesar stone white shimmer
Kick Rail: Stainless Steel
Winerack/Openings: timber look vinyl
We'll be getting applicances from Miele which will be more black than stainless steel so hopefully the kitchen will not be too bright being all white? Will be tiling our on floor tiles after hand over, thinking of matching the bathroom with monument ivory or maybe going for a darker tile. WHat are your thoughts and does it matter if the floor tiles differ to the wet areas as that area must be completed by the builder.
Bathroom:
Floor tiles: Monument ivory porcelain 600*600
Shower wall tiles: one side gloss white 200*400 and the other pinstripe nero (black) 300*600
Vanity wall tile and bath splashback wall tile: pinstripe nero
spa: gloss white with silver trims
I'm not so sure of the bathroom so please let me know if it doesn't sound right
We'll be installing timber floorboards to the first floor, can anyone with experience let me know how the noise is compare to carpet, is it major?
Thanks and hope to read your responses soon =)
