Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Aug 24, 2011 6:52 pm Hi guys, I have a a bit of a situation here and would like some advise: The standard inclusions of the house that I chose included the overhead kitchen cabinets. To close the deal, they offered me a free upgrade to canopy range hood which I accepted. Now the cabinetry has been installed, the kitchen looked odd without overhead cabinetry. I checked the contract and sure enough, the cupboard was removed to make way to the upgraded canopy and now I'm left with no overhead cabinetry. I asked the CSO and asked, because if they were removed because of the canopy, I should get a credit for it right? Because it came with the price of the house? I got the below response: I have noticed that the overhead cupboards were added to your Sales Advice Drawings, however you upgraded the Canopy before your Contract was prepared which means the overhead cupboards were not added into your Contract or your Contract Plans. As the cupboards weren’t added into your Contract, you have not been charged for them so unfortunately there won’t be any credit back for this. -Site Start - 27th Jan 2011 Re: Question on Kitchen Cabinet 2Aug 29, 2011 3:50 pm Hi, Did they indicate the price for the overhead cabinets in the quote?
