Being solid timber glued to plank there is no hollow noise, unlike floating floor and veneer board which is what we have now. Both tiles and polished concrete feel cold and stark to me. Natural timber has warmth and I love the natural look of timber. Switch 830 in Meve Commenced 20/7/2011 Completed Early april 2012 Moved in 30/4/2012 1000000% definitely add insulation. I have in my home and it makes a big difference minimising sound transfer.
