Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Aug 10, 2011 3:22 pm Hi, Our builder is offering free ducted air con with our home (the current promo). The specs are: 13.5kw system with 9 x outlets and 2 x zones. We are building a 248 square meter (total) single storey home. Do you think this air conditioner will be good enough, would you be happy with it? There are upgrades available to us, at an additional cost of course. Just interested in other's opinions. Thanks Re: Air conditioning - would you be happy with this? 2Aug 10, 2011 3:27 pm Nova, Thats about the size we are going for for a 200m2 floor space but with 4 zones. Take your plans to an airconditioning place and get them to do a spec. I think they might say it is at the bottom end of what they would specify. I assume you could discuss with the builder and pay the difference for an upgrade. It should not be too much at all really.
