Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Aug 10, 2011 1:42 pm So my build is about 2 months off completion at this stage and I received a notice of fencing from our rear neighbor. The quote is fine and I'm happy to go ahead but at this stage our temp fencing is still up and the final site clean hasn't been done. Apparently the neighbor is anxious to get a fence up but of course the builder won't be liable for any damage caused to the fence when they do the final clean if i go ahead with it. I don't want to get off on the wrong foot with our new neighbors so im inclined to go ahead with it but my question is has anyone done a fence prior to site clean before and had any issues? It's only the rear fence, there will still be access at the sides. Also it's a colorbond fence. The other question is that im in a stockland estate and one side of my fence borders parklands, has anyone had any luck getting stockland to split the cost of the fence? I'm not too hopeful but I figure it's worth a shot. Re: Fencing Questions 3Aug 10, 2011 3:13 pm I have one side and my rear fence constructed prior to commencing building.
