It looks great as a sample just hope its as nice in real life. Re: b0son's custom build with Procorp 23Nov 04, 2011 12:04 pm Kitchen was originally due to go in the 14th. The kitchen drain needed to be relocated before they could do this, and builder hadnt done this in a timely manner, so its been delayed.... builder says drain is now done but now the kitchen guys have gone AWOL. So, 3 weeks lost so far. We were told we'd be in by xmas, but i cant see how thats going to happen now. I looked through our building contract, and the crafty buggers have crossed out the $60/day liquidated damages, and changed it to $60/week.... obviously, its not been initialled by us, but should we need to make use of this clause, a bunfight will no doubt ensue.... I'm hoping for your sake its the Kitchen people that have gone out of business and not the builder Re: b0son's custom build with Procorp 28Nov 16, 2011 8:01 pm I saw some of their tradies on other sites, and one of their staff spoke to me today about connecting the gas in preparation for the driveway being laid, so I suspect I'm being a bit premature (I hope I am)... it would be nice if the SS would just be up front about what the hold-up is. Kitchen co. are saying they're waiting for the green light... Frustrating to lose an entire month. Re: b0son's custom build with Procorp 29Nov 16, 2011 8:22 pm Did you get the penalty issue sorted, 4 weeks of nothing seems that they will have to be compensating you. If the kitchen guys told me they were waiting on the builder to give the green light I would have sent my wife to their office to them moving Re: b0son's custom build with Procorp 30Nov 17, 2011 5:20 pm I'll cross the penalty bridge when I come to it ... dont want to give them any more reasons to hold things up. They're saying they still anticipate finishing by the due date. We shall see. Re: b0son's custom build with Procorp 31Nov 17, 2011 7:24 pm What was the construction time frame they gave you (weeks)?
