Then upload your photos to your photobucket account. Then all you need to do is put the link in your post here. Hope this helps! Let me know how you go....... we're all longing to see your beautiful buckingham Re: NBG Buckingham 36E, Almost there 303Jul 22, 2009 8:03 pm Our blinds were done by Michael Gubby (recommended by Mel and Emi) from Style Plantation Shutters and Blinds. Phone 1300763002 or 0412599359. We went for double rollers downstairs and singles upstairs - e screens on non privacy issue windows and block out for the boys rooms. Extremely happy with the service and price. Fi has moved in!! Re: NBG Buckingham 36E, Almost there 305Jul 22, 2009 8:15 pm Thanks Brittany for supplying Michael's number. If you need blinds, Michael's your man. Price is very good and service is extremely good. Comes out, measures, installs, follows up. I can't recommend highly enough. We went for the plantation shutters on all front windows, white venetions in upstairs rear bedrooms, and roman blinds for all other windows. When he was installing, Michael realised there had been an error and he only had 6 plantation shutters instead of 7. He has ordered another one for us so that's not an issue, but he actually went back to the factory that afternoon and made us a temporary holland blind for the window in front of the master walk in robe and brought it back or us that evening. I was thinking other companies would have just recommended we hang up a sheet or something like that, but he went out of the way to deliver the best possible alternative while we wait for the 7th shutter. Some news about our Samsung TV. We bought the new series 8 plasma a couple of weeks back and I installed it on Monday when we moved in. The last couple of days I'd noticed a buzzing sound when viewing bright scenes. Rang the store and they promptly said that they would replace it today, which they did. Two guys came out, coollected the old one and left me with another brand spanker. They left, I switched the thing on only to be met with a blank white screen. No menu, no images, no sound, nothing. Remote doesn't do anything, only switches the thing off and on. Rang the store again, and was told to leave it until tomorrow morning. I'm seriously peeved as we just had foxtel installed today and we want to watch it. Hopeflly, we'll get a satisfactory resolution tomorrow. Re: NBG Buckingham 36E, Almost there 317Jul 23, 2009 10:11 pm brittany Hi concept - what are you brick choices? And why the two bricks - are they rendering or bagging and painting? More pics please Very excited for you Just noticed the 2 different bricks as well. Are you rendering? however, it appears at the side of the house. I'm a bit confused...but it all looks really good! Re: NBG Buckingham 36E, Almost there 318Jul 24, 2009 7:15 am Hi guys, Yes there is two different bricks We have vic blue and mist. Vic blue - garage, top storey ( front only ), and the pillars in alfresco. We were going to render but could not afford it so we decided to do it this way and untill we had enough money to render it. My husband had choosen well it look really good together. Re: NBG Buckingham 36E, Almost there 319Jul 24, 2009 9:00 am Good choice Rosa, VicBlue are my favourite bricks. If we werent going with the B&P, we would have prolly paid the extra and got the VicBlue bricks...I also really like the bricks Brit & Em selected...all dark coloured bricks look super stunning and elegant...really gives the place a sophisticated look in my opinion. Re: 320Sep 07, 2009 8:12 pm Quote: I met with the builder on Wednesday and went through everything. He had a number of really good suggestions. The one I really liked was about the laundry chute. We had originally planned to have the chute come down from the ceiling onto the laundry bench. The builder suggested that we have overhead cupboards over the bench and the chute drop into one of the cupboards. That way, we save on bench space and just open the cupboard door when we want to unload the dirty laundry. Hi Can you tell me approx how much it was to put in the laundry chute and the cupboards?
