Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Jul 29, 2011 10:22 pm I am building my first home in Ford Canberra ACT and want to hire a private inspector to check the quality of builder's work at the following stage: frame pre-plaster final I hope the private inspector can pick up defect/quality issues that I can report to the builder to fix those up during the building process. Anyone can recommend good private building certifier/inspector in ACT? PS: I noticed that the builder has appointed his nominee certifier to certify the building work in complaince with BCA. However, I just have concern whether this certifier he appoint is someone he know and will not become totally independent. That is why I am thinking to get another private inspector for double check.
