When i sign up i have a complete promotion which should include government changers and oh&s. Also prize matrix i was given was charge wrongly as well. Also i have upgraded the tiles area and was quoted $2400 to cover all the cost by sales person. Also have upgraded the glass in the standard door they provide in complete promotion. 1> When i went for my contract appointment consultant charge me for government and OH&S charges about $1500 wrong prize. 2> they have charge me wrong prize again according to prize matrix suppose to $3000 for November site start but it’s around $4000. 3> and then i got the surprise they are now charging me more then $3000 for tiles upgrade. and when i ask why they said they have quoted me wrong prize in quotation and its mistake while sales consultant clearly said that he have confirm the prize from PD office. and now they are not even they don’t accept it office mistake and i still want me to pay the higher prize. 4> Also the prize for the glass upgrade in the door must be wrong as well. They have quoted me around $800 for that and all my friends build have paid around $400 for the same thing. But they are charging me less to have the same glass on side of the door which is acutely large in size. Well after all the discussion they are not agree and not charging me for government and OH&S. Also they have change the prize for the fix prize matrix. But still not agree to change prize for tiles and also for the glass on door which was quoted high according to me. Can anyone please confirm if we upgrade to desert sand glass in door how much it will cost? This is for main door. Sometimes they will only cover up to a certain cost depending on the type of house and the site. They should give you an allowance for the standard tiles so that you only pay the difference between the standard and upgraded tiles. Do you have those price figures? If you think you are being overcharged then just do what i did and get the standard door and replace it when you move in. Also thanks to them that now they have fix the issue they had for the OH&S charges they will not charge me anymore. And also for the prize matrix is all solved. I really hope they will change the prize for the door which is defiantly overcharge and also charges for tiles i really want them to change it to what they have quoted on my quotation. The $1000 is for signing up, and gets you a site start month, and also covers soil tests. If you haven't had your colour selections/floor covering appointment they don't know what it's going to cost, you could choose non standard items which do have a $ value. The sales consultant provides estimates, not concrete figures, these are covered at your contract appointment, if you're not happy with it don't sign and walk away... Ok so now you just have the tiles quoted differently and the door price. With the tiles if you are unhappy with the price you can either not build with them or you could build with no floor coverings and go to a tile place that give you a better price and have them do the tiles after handover. For the door it's the same thing, if you believe you are being overcharged then get that product somewhere else. As i said, prices vary from time to time, supplier to supplier and based on the exact product. The obscure door glazing on my home was different to my friends because it was a different door with a different kind of glass of a different thickness and almost certainly from a different supplier. Re: Plz Help PD team 7Jul 29, 2011 5:17 pm thanks guys, consultant have told me that they will give me call today as i did not agree to sign contract yearstday. So i don't know whats going on. But i have contacted team PD and hopefully they will be able to resolve all the issue. Just question again If they cant give me same prize for the tiles and i decide to cancel then do they refund the $1000 deposit as they are not giving me same prize as they have quotation. If soil testing has been done and you then decide not to build with PD then you will lose the $1000. In regards to the pricing of the tiles, we too changed a carpeted area to tiles. The sales consultant gave us a price on how much it will cost us to do if we used STANDARD tiles. If we upgraded our tiles (which we did) you then are given a price of the difference it will cost to tile not only the area that has been change, but to tile the whole house in the upgraded tile. The price they give you is the price difference between the standard tile and the upgraded tile. If they have simply quoted you wrongly and they have picked this up before you have signed any contracts, then there is nothing much you can expect them to do about it. They are well within their rights to stand down and say that's the price take it or leave it. If it was the case of where you were quoted a price and then you signed, and they came to you after contract siging and said "opps we quoted you wrong" Then you would of had all the right to say no. Especially if it was written. If its verbal, your options are I guess, limited to paying up or walking away.
