Love love love your colour selections. Must be close now. Have they given you any idea? Thanks Michelle. I'm glad that you like the colour selections. I was being very conservative in my colour choices I did ask the Builder but he's not giving me a date. I'm in the process of writing a complaint letter to him. It rained last few weeks over here and our balcony above didn't drain the water. The tiler had to ripped all the tiles out and now waiting for a few days of sunshine for the base to get dry so he can re-tile. There should be a fall to allow the water to drain away from the house. Because of this it's delaying and they couldn't put the balustrade on to apply for occupancy permit. Infact I sent him a complaint letter stated that I'm going to lodge a complaint to the Building Commission. Somehow after receive my letter, he's now very responsive. We were onsite a little more than 2 hours sorting out everything. And finally got a Handover date which is 12 June. Can't wait. While we were onsite, found out the colour splashback they installed was the wrong colour. Supposed to be Beige Royal but they installed Grey Pebbles. No wonder it looks a little grey Here are some pictures: Carpet in the Formal Living area Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Carpet in the Main bedroom: Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Looking into the hallway upstairs: Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Our timber flooring for upstairs: Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ NBG - Building the Buckingham (Study option) in SouthEastern My building thread: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=49878 Re: NBG - Building the Buckingham (Study option) in SouthEas 188May 31, 2012 4:57 am I love the timber floorboards they look great. I like the splashback. My walls are wattyl flokati so it should match in well. I can see what you mean that it looked a bit grey...... It'll look great on your Flokati wall as it has grey in it. My wall colour is beige/cream therefore I find Beige Royal splashback would suit more. But in thinking of how they going to change it, makes me worry that they will damage more when removing the rangehood inorder to take out the splashback. So I may end up having to accept the wrong colour and see what compensation they would give. Here's what Beige Royal would look (someone else's kitchen): Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ NBG - Building the Buckingham (Study option) in SouthEastern My building thread: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=49878 Re: NBG - Building the Buckingham (Study option) in SouthEas 192Jun 01, 2012 8:36 am Wow a handover date, your house looks sooooooooooo good love it,can you tell me colour/company of your carpet that's the colour l want.If it were me l wound want the Beige Royal imo the grey doesn't go.This is a pic of B R from a H1 member (hope they don't mind)it gets a lot of lovely comments Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Re: NBG - Building the Buckingham (Study option) in SouthEas 193Jun 01, 2012 7:45 pm pattycake4 Wow a handover date, your house looks sooooooooooo good love it,can you tell me colour/company of your carpet that's the colour l want.If it were me l wound want the Beige Royal imo the grey doesn't go.This is a pic of B R from a H1 member (hope they don't mind)it gets a lot of lovely comments Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Thanks Pattycake. This looks nice. I'll tell the builder to correct the splashback as the Beige Royal would give a fresh look against my wall colour. I just hope that the tradesmen doesn't damage whatever they undo. So worry. As for the carpet. We had it chosen at Major Carpet. Carpet: Col44 SantaFe Give them a call, they've got a few shades to choose from. Good luck. Also the builder refused to change the splashback and he also asked me to install the overlooking screen on the balcony, which I'm trying to someone in to do it. The weather hasn't been great so it has been delaying. How is it going on your end? Deemaree, he's not changing it. He said because I didn't have a sign variation, so he won't change it. On the request there were 4 things that I asked him to change, he went ahead and change 3 items, but left out the splashback and now he said he won't change it. I'm not too sure whose right or wrong here. It's very frustrated because I call him up to make sure that he gets the correct colour and he said "Yes yes, leave it with me". And now the mistake is on him but he turns around and said he won't fix it.
